The controller performs cycles switching according to the operating control programs embedded in its non-volatile memory.
Analyzing current time and day of week according to the clock calendar, the controller takes a decision on the execution of a particular control program. The controller counts current time, date, day of week and year according to the embedded calendar clock. In the event of mains supply failure, the embedded calendar clock is connected to the integrated self-contained power supply, which ensures its operation for at least 1 year. The controller ensures switching operating programs according to daily and weekly schedules.
The controller ensures control via the External Control Panel (ECP) and Pedestrian Calling Board (PCB). The number of connected groups of pedestrian calling boards (PCB) is two, at their maximum communication line length is not greater than 150 m (countdown-supported).
The controller provides manual switching from internal program operation mode to the mode of flashing yellow "FY", all red "AR" or off-state "OS". The "FY" and "OS" operation modes can also be included in the controller operation schedule as standard control programs.
All controller channels are equivalent and have output current and voltage control sensors. In case of breakage of red lamps or failure of a sensor in any of the red channels, the controller will automatically switch to flashing yellow mode ("FY").
In the event that a self-induced voltage occurs in the output circuits of any green channel, in program cycles, where it should not be present (in case of breakdown of power channel keys and in other cases), or in case of failure of voltage sensors in these circuits, the controller ensures isolation of output circuits from power supply (switches to the "OS" mode).
The controller can be connected to an Automatic Traffic Control System (ATCS).
The controller is equipped with the RS-485 data exchange interface
The controller’s configuration can be supplemented with a module for handling GPS signals, for communication over GSM networks including data transmission over the GPRS protocol and for accessing the Internet.
The controller performs local status monitoring and troubleshooting making records into the non-volatile internal log (PROM).
The controller ensures enhanced power supply protection against overvoltages caused by lightning discharges.
Service life of the controller is at least 10 years, subject to the operating conditions.
